What’s the Difference?

Think of a Popsicle® as your average frozen treat... and a paleta as her tropical, flavor-packed cousin who just got back from vacation in Costa Rica or Mexico.

Popsicle®: The trademark labels it as “flavored and colored water frozen on a stick.” Ice pop is a common term used to describe these treats.

Paleta: Not trademarked because bursting with real fruit, creamy coconut, bold spices, & being made with love doesn’t need any fancy labels.

Paletas are handcrafted, often dairy-free, and packed with fresh, juicy ingredients—like mangos, strawberries, and even tajín or coconut milk. Some are fruity, some are creamy, some are chocolate dipped… but all are pura vida on a stick!
